This precious, precious girl is Beth. Beth was a stray to a kill shelter in GA. Her neglect is obvious. She didn't know how to be an indoor dog and is heartworm positive, but the love she has for the children in her foster home is so incredibly heartwarming.
Beth is learning how to potty train and you can always find her with the 5 year old human. That's Beth's human! Beth does not like to be crated but so far hasn't shown us she needs to be as she's not destructive in the home. Beth doesn't like to be alone and would prefer to be an only dog or with one other calm natured dog. She loves toys and dog beds.
Beth is undergoing heartworm treatment and will be available for adoption in March. She's being fostered in GA but can be transported to MD or NJ once she finds her furever family. She is three years old, spayed, current on her vaccines and is looking for a family to be her very own. MUST HAVE KIDS! :)
~~The Last Resort is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in.
